Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Hope it was a joyful day of celebration for all. We certainly had a lot to be thankful for. My brother Brian was able to come up, so this was the first Thanksgiving as a whole family of Irishes in quite a while. To round out the table we also had our friends Luke and Laura (newly stationed here at Bangor and expecting a Christmas baby!), Kathryn's boyfriend Jackson, and our Elena and Adam. Adam was supposed to be out to sea by now, so we can only be grateful. I will never argue with schedule changes in our favor!

These first few pictures are from last weekend. Mom, Elena, and I went to cheer on my little brother Kyle at his ultimate frisbee tournament. As a senior in college he finally decided to join the team (better late than never!), and he was awesome. As we were walking up we see Kyle in the endzone catching one of the first points of the game. Makes me miss frisbee a little. :)

Elena was really great, even in the cold and drizzle!

She loves her grandma!

This whole frisbee thing may be inevitable.

Everyone made fun of her antenna pigtails in different directions,
but I told them to try getting a wiggle worm to sit still that long. :)

She loooves her uncles.

And wish me luck! Tomorrow I'm running my first ever half marathon. Yikes! I didn't get to train as much as I wanted, but my goal is just to get out there and finish it. I'll let you know how it goes!
