Happy birthday Madeleine!

Dear Madeleine,

One year ago today, we were just meeting you for the first time.  And it's true what they say: our lives would never be the same.  Thank you for all the love and joy you've brought into our family, for the laughs and inspiration, and even for the frustrations that only make us stronger.  You are already proving to be entirely too clever and beautiful, and I can't wait for the years to come.  May you always have the same mischievous grin and chase adventure with the same innocent delight.
